SJBCA Participation Points Program

Serving as an SJBCA officer, points for each year (terms vary between 1 and 2 years):
    President = 5; 1st VP = 3; 2nd VP = 3; Secretary = 3; Treasurer = 3; Tournament Director = 3; Director = 1.
Serving as chairman of an SJBCA committee (2 points per committee per year):
    Flea Market Committee.
Serving on an SJBCA committee (1 point per committee per year):
    Audit Committee, Flea Market Committee, SJ Youth Outdoor Day Committee, Scholarship Committee, Weigh-in Trailer Fix-up Committee.
Volunteering at an SJBCA-sanctioned event (1 point per event):

Fishermen's Flea Market Set-up; Fisherman's Flea Market; June Buddy Tournament, SJ Youth Outdoor Day, Sportsmen's Jamboree, Bass Bowl, other SJBCA-sanctioned event (e.g., Lake Audrey Work Party).

Attending SJBCA meetings as a delegate of a member club:
Attending 100% of the member meetings held in a calendar year = 2 points.
Attending 75% of the member meetings held in a calendar year = 1 point.

Upon accumulating 10 participation points, a member earns a royal blue, hooded fishing jacket with SJBCA logos embroidered on the chest & sleeve and the member's name & club name embroidered on the opposite chest.

Upon accumulating 50 additional participation points (60 total points), a member earns a higher quality jacket of his choice with the same embroidery as the first jacket.

Upon volunteering at two qualifying SJBCA-sanctioned events*, a member earns a royal blue SJBCA hat (two styles available).

Upon volunteering at four qualifying SJBCA-sanctioned events*, a member earns a royal blue SJBCA staff shirt.

* For events taking place after 1/1/05. Only one of each item may be earned. Qualifying events are: Fishermen's Flea Market, June Buddy Tournament, SJ Youth Outdoor Day, Sportsmen's Jamboree, Bass Bowl.
